Through public safety education and awareness, Gary's primary goal is to reduce the number of deaths in our school-age children and grandchildren.

The leading causes of death in this age group are accident-related, with traffic fatalities being most prevalent.

Our children represent approximately 33% of our population but 100% of our future!
